Littlefork man killed Tuesday

A 31-year old Littlefork man was killed around 8:48 a.m. Tuesday when the 1988 GMC van he was driving eastbound on County Road 45, also known as Keenan Drive, collided with the rear end of a 1994 Mack 600 truck owned by Nemanich Inc., Eveleth. According to the report, the operator of the truck was not injured. The name of the man killed was not identified Tuesday pending notification of relatives. An investigation is being conducted by the International Falls Police Department, Koochiching County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota State Patrol.
