Louis Edward Slapnicker, of Big Falls, Minn., passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013, in Duluth, Minn., at the age of 75.
Louis was born in Hibbing, Minn., on Feb. 1, 1938.
Mr. Slapnicker was a longtime member of the Brick Layers Union.
He was a resident of Big Falls for 10 years.
He is survived by his children, Richard Slapnicker of Big Falls, Sheila Cookingham of Dorset, Ohio, Randy Slapnicker, Vicki Barkonowitz of Parnsvild, Ohio, and Billy Slapnicker of Ashtabula, Ohio; 20 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Louis Slapnicker.
Per Louis’ wishes, no memorial services will be held.
