Mary Kay LaCombe, 64, of International Falls, Minn., died Thursday morning, Sept. 6, 2012.
Born Dec. 6, 1947, in Minneapolis, Minn., she grew up in north Minneapolis and graduated from North High School in 1965.
She moved to International Falls in 1987, where she had resided since, and also attended Rainy River Community College.
Mary was formerly married to Raymond LaCombe.
She was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her grandkids.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Ervin and Genevieve Payne; and brother, Ervin R. “Bubs” Payne.
Mary is survived by her sons, Richard LaCombe of Cleburne, Texas, and Bryan Hanson of International Falls; daughters, Michelle (Dale) Olson of Bloomington, Minn., Theresa Hanson of International Falls, and Angela LaCombe of Antigua, Guatemala; seven grandchildren — Daniel (Kayla) Olson of Bloomington, Richard LaCombe Jr. of St. Cloud, Minn., Jackie Olson of Bemidji, Minn., Bryce and Tyler Hanson, both of International Falls, and Nathan and Katherine LaCombe, both of Texas; sister, Bette Greene (Ron Billett) of Minneapolis; and special friends, Kathy Bender and Staci Eberhart.
Memorial services will be conducted at noon Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Green-Larsen Mortuary.
The family would prefer memorials in her memory.
