Mary Rose Tollefsrud Johnston, 72, of International Falls, Minn., died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Rainy Lake Medical Center.
Mary was born June 24, 1939 in International Falls.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and fishing.
Mary was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orin and Elma Tollefsrud; brother, Orin Tollefsrud; and sister, Elizabeth Jozwick.
Mary is survived by her husband, Kenneth Johnston; sons, John deBernardeaux and Doug (Judy) deBernardeaux; daughters, Rosie (Wes) Krzoska and Sandi Westover (Dan Ames); step children — Pam (Paul) Martin, Dale (Ramona) Johnston, Tim (Sandy) Johnston, Mark Johnston, Dan (Julie) Johnston, Kim (Rusty) and Candice; 24 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue (Don) Carrier, Sandy (Tom) Schaaf and Kay Wilson; and special friend of the family, Beverly Beck.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service Monday, April 16, at Zion Lutheran Church.
Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Loman, Minn.
