A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 9, 2012 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell for Mollie T. Hillstead, age 92, of Sartell who passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family in Sartell. Reverend Michael Wolfbauer will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in International Falls.
Family and friends may call between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and after 9:30 a.m. on Friday all at the gathering space at the church in Sartell. A rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the church in Sartell.
Mollie was born on May 23, 1919 in Virginia, Minnesota to Frank and Frances (Matko) Belay. She married Richard Hillstead on July 6, 1946 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in International Falls. Mollie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who gave unselfishly to all those who were in her life.
She is survived by her daughters, Peggy (Don) Theis of Bloomington, Mary Jo Vigoren of Sartell; grandchildren, Eric, Rory, Mike (Kristen), Raynie, Trina (Cory); and great-grandchildren, Brady, and Brooklyn.
Mollie was preceded in death by her husband, Dick; and siblings.

Memorials are preferred in Lieu of Flowers.
