Nancy Marie Pettet, of North Branch, Minn., passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012, at her home. The former Nancy Marie Woodbridge was born Feb. 21, 1962, in International Falls, Minn. She was a 1980 graduate of Falls High School. On Sept. 22, 1990, she married Tom Pettet in St. Paul, Minn. Besides her one and only child, Ben, whom she loved dearly, Nancy had a great passion for Precious Moments figurines. Her passion was so great she made several trips with her husband to Carthage, Mo., to tour the Precious Moments Chapel and meet designer Sam Butc
Nancy Marie Pettet, of North Branch, Minn., passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012, at her home.
The former Nancy Marie Woodbridge was born Feb. 21, 1962, in International Falls, Minn.
She was a 1980 graduate of Falls High School.
On Sept. 22, 1990, she married Tom Pettet in St. Paul, Minn.
Besides her one and only child, Ben, whom she loved dearly, Nancy had a great passion for Precious Moments figurines. Her passion was so great she made several trips with her husband to Carthage, Mo., to tour the Precious Moments Chapel and meet designer Sam Butcher in person.
Nancy also enjoyed scrapbooking. Her family always looked forward to her homemade touches on birthday and Christmas cards.
Survivors include her husband, Tom of North Branch, Minn.; son, Benjamin of St Cloud, Minn.; sisters, Deb (Mike) Berg of Brooklyn Park, Minn., and Evangeline (Mick) Powers of Chisholm, Minn.; brother, Lawrence “Woody” (Susan) Woodbridge of Nevis, Minn.; in-laws and very special friends, Tom and Vicki Pettet of North Branch, Minn.; and sister-in-law, Tammy Pettet of St. Paul, Minn.
Nancy was loved and will be missed by her nephews and nieces, McKenzie and Madison Berg, Matt Woodbridge, and Zachary and Emily Woodbridge; as well as by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Woodbridge in 1998, and father, Paul Woodbridge in 2006.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at United Methodist Church, 6500 Main St., North Branch.
Visitation will be at noon Thursday, March 15, at the church.
Burial will take place at a later date in International Falls.
