Patricia Ann LaGoo, 73, of Ranier, Minn., passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Rainy Lake Medical Center.

Patricia was born May 10, 1939, in International Falls, Minn., and moved to Ranier after marrying Donald LaGoo in International Falls in 1957.

She worked at Rig-Jig Tackle and The Loon’s Nest.

She loved fishing on Rainy Lake, and going out visiting her friends.

She loved spending time with Hailey Marie and all her other grandchildren as well as her beloved dog, “Annie Rose.”

She enjoyed knitting, cooking, and gardening, and she loved Ranier, and spending time with her husband, Don.

She was a member of the Ranier Rec Club, and the Ranier City Council for four years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Moorman and Helen Maurstad; son, Benny; brothers, Norman Maurstad and Bob Moorman.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Don LaGoo; son, Donny LaGoo of Ranier, Minn.; daughters, Tammy Hunter of Manitou, Ontario, Canada, Bonny LaGoo of International Falls, and Carrie LaGoo of Ranier; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Yvonne Johnson of Columbus, Ga., and Carla (Dave) Thomasson of Ranier.

A memorial gathering will be conducted from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Green-Larsen Mortuary.
