Paving the way
At the site of the new bike trail at Voyageurs National Park, construction workers on Wednesday morning clear a path by hauling blasted rock. The two-mile asphalt bike trail resumed construction this month, and is expected to be complete by the end of the year. The trail will connect the Rainy Lake Visitor Center to the existing Koochiching County bike trail near Thunderbird Lodge.
