Randy H. Splett, of Littlefork, Minn., passed away Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at his home.
Randy was born in Littlefork, Minn., on Oct. 13, 1950.
He worked as a salesperson at Junkers Lumber in Littlefork.
Randy loved fishing and woodworking in his shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Hazel Splett; son, Brian Dean Splett; and father-in-law, Richard Keep.
Randy is survived by his wife, Wendy D. Splett of Littlefork; brother, Gary (Rickie) Splett of Littlefork; mother-in-law, Dorothy Keep of Littlefork; special uncle, Gerald (Sonny) Anderson of Arkansas; sisters-in-law, Starlene Keep of North Dakota, Eva (David) Johnson of Nebraska, Allen (Debbie) Keep of Arizona and Perry (Mary) Keep of Nebraska; nieces, Angel (Mike) Hepokoski of Littlefork, April (David) Michaels of Sauk Rapids, Minn., Christina (Jesse) Wilson of Arizona, Cynthia Keep and Rebecca Keep of Nebraska, Heather (John) Bjorklund of St. Paul, Minn., and Shannon (James) Henson of Oklahoma; nephews, Raymond (MaryAnn) Splett, Randy (Kristi) Splett, and Gary W. Nordlund, all of Littlefork, and Joey Keep of Arizona; many cousins, great-nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles; special friends, Jerry and Cleo Anderson and family, and Mike and Karyl Hawes and family; and his special K-9 companion, “Ginger.”
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan.11, at Littlefork Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior.
Interment will be at Dentaybow Cemetery at a later date.
