Robert Livingston Hunter

Robert Livingston Hunter, 57, of International Falls, Minn., and Fort Frances, Ontario, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Rainy Lake Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 7, 1956, at Fort Frances.

Robert was well known in the area as a handyman, always willing to lend a helping hand.

He worked for 20 years in construction in San Jose, Calif. He returned to the International Falls/Fort Frances area in 2003.

Robert had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Hunter Sr. and Yvonne Spoon.

Survivors include sons, Danny Livingston and Craig Livingston; daughter, Sabrina Davis; brothers, Ivan (Darlene) Hunter of Lodi, Ohio, Phillip (Roxanne) Hunter of Cloquet, Minn., and Brad (Melrose) Schave of Fort Frances; sisters, Verna Calder of International Falls, Linda (Robert Blanchard) Dunbar Livingston of Ashland, Wis., and Patricia (Laurence Ottertail) Livingston of Lac la Croix First Nation, Ontario; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at Green-Larsen Mortuary.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral at 9.

Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
