Rosalee Wright

Rosalee Ellen Wright, age 82, of Loman, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 14, 2012, surrounded by loving family.

She was born Nov. 3, 1929, in Jewett, Ill., to Harold and Ethel Greeson.

Her father was a carpenter and the family traveled through the South until they settled in Minnesota, where she met and married Raymond in 1950, her husband of 62 years.

Rosalee was a caring, kind and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother and friend who took meticulous care to nurture and maintain her relationships with all her loved ones.

She was gentle, kind and supportive to her husband and family.

Rosie shone a little brighter than most and made life fuller for everyone around her. She enhanced others’ lives through her warm understanding care and love.

She was happiest when surrounded by her large family. Famous for tea-time where she shared her unconditional love and spirit. When you visited Rosie, you could expect to hear, “Honey, are you hungry?”

She spent as much time as she could at the cabin on Rainy Lake and found endless pleasure in all things brought by nature. A special soul who will be missed and forever remain in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond; their seven loving children — Linda (Jim) Gustavson, Dixie (Bruce) Ford, Dawn (Mike) Pelland, Glen Wright, Melanie (Brian) Danz, Cathy (Brett) Beaudette, Pamela (Tom) VanDamme; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many caring nieces and nephews.

A service date will follow.
