Sharon Suzanne (Davis) Saari, of Bloomington, Minn., passed away peacefully Saturday, March 10, 2012, with her family and special caregivers at her side.
She was born April 5, 1930, in International Falls, Minn.
Sharon is survived by her daughters, Candy (Jim) Nelson and Pamela Saari; the light and joy of her life, grandson, Darren Nelson; sister, Betty Branham of Plymouth; brother, Rolland (Leilani) Davis of Minnetrista; and sister-in-law, Irene “Peg” Davis of Mt. Vernon, Wash.
She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, friends and her granddogs, “Reggie,” “Ruby” and “Mikko.”
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Bessie Davis; brothers, Victor Davis and Calvin Davis; and husband, Arthur Saari.
The family would like to thank the staff at Fairview Hospice and Home Care; Dr. James Struve, Mary Imholte, Carolyn Roach, Jenny Morgan and the staff at Breck Homes for the loving care they provided to Sharon.
A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave. S., Bloomington, with visitation beginning at 10.
Private interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, if desired memorials preferred to Breck Homes or donor’s choice.
