Wealth of knowledge

Diane Adams from the International Falls Public Library recently shared her knowledge of current books with students in Kayla Gilbert’s English classes. Adams brought a collection of young adult literature to share with the students. Students are asked to read for enjoyment outside of class time, throughout the school year and often struggle to find books on their own. Adams brought a wealth of knowledge about the kinds of books students love. She reminded them about the young adult section in the public library and how they can request books to be brought to the school with the help of Falls library specialist Gigi Harder. This is the second year that Adams has come with bags full of books of all different genres to share with students. When she finished her book talks, students came up to inspect and write down titles so that they could find them later.
