Wyatt Randall concentrates as he puts the finishing touches on his balloon resembling a bat. Randall is one of about 30 students in grades kindergarten through third grade that were busy making bats out of balloons Tuesday at the International Falls Public Library. The group visits the library every Tuesday through a Targeted Services program led by local teacher Lisa West. West said the six-week-long program targets reading and math and helps maintain skills through the summer months.
