Renowned chainsaw artist Terry Boquist worked on a surprise creation for Phyllis Karsnia last week. Leo Karsnia, who partners with Boquist on a number of creations, asked Boquist to create a bear for Phyllis’ gardens on Dove Island. The white cedar bear carving was completed with a smile and wandering eyes. For a story about Boquist, whose business is known as Woodbutchery, and his artwork, see the July edition of Simply North magazine.
