Koochiching County commissioners are scheduled to meet Tuesday for what appears to be a brief agenda
The county board meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. in the courthouse boardroom. An agenda is considered tentative until the government body begins the meeting and makes additions or deletions to the proposed agenda.
The board is scheduled to review a May timber auction at 9:45 a.m. and hear an update on legislation that would allow the county to sell 20 acres to Great River Energy.
At 10:05 a.m. the board is scheduled to conduct a public comment period, during which the public may address the board on any topic.
The board is scheduled to meet in committee at 10:15 a.m. when it will consider how to handle complaints during a review of the pubic nuisance ordinance. It will also review the county’s zoning ordinance as it relates to short-term rentals.
