The Veterans of Foreign Wars-sponsored bus to the Border Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at Backus Auditorium will pick up at: 2:05 p.m. at Hampton Court; 2:10 at West Falls Estates and Robb-Ross; 2:15 at River’s Edge Villa; and at 2:20 at Woodland. The third Border Concert will present “Thuringer Salonquintett.”

Movie night

Documentary movie night is set for 6:30 p.m. Monday at Backus Auditorium, sponsored by International Falls Public Library. The movie, “It’s a Girl,” which highlights the “gendercide” found particularly in China and India, will be shown with a discussion following. Refreshments will be provided.

The International Falls Public Library Pictures and Pens story deadline is Wednesday. Visit the library blog at http://ifallslibrary.blogspot.com to see the picture to write a story, poem, memoir about.
