“Miracle on 34th Street” will be presented at 7 p.m. Dec. 15 and at 2 p.m. Dec. 16 at the L-BF Old Gym Theater. Admission is $5 at the door.

Friends of Library book collection

The deadline for bringing in books to be distributed to local Head Start children is Saturday. The Friends of the Library are still in need of a few more books so that all children receive a book. The public is encouraged to purchase a book for a 4-5-year-old child, wrap it and bring to the library. This year, the Friends of the Library are adding a calendar of activities for families to do together to each book, to help children get ready for kindergarten.

Class of 1965 Girls

Falls High School Class of 1965 Girls will meet for a noon luncheon Dec. 12 at Giovanni’s.

VFW Ladies Auxiliary

The regular meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2948 will be at 5 p.m. (note time change) Tuesday at the Post Home, 1416 Third Ave. W.-Highway 53, in the dining room. Following a brief meeting, the group will carpool to Lenard’s for a meal, $5 ornament exchange and Food Shelf monetary donation. To make reservations for dinner, call Beth at 283-9029 prior to Monday.
