VNP ice, trail conditions

Over the past week, ice conditions have improved slightly, and ice checking is ongoing. There are still large areas of open water on the large lakes, and ice depth varies greatly. Travel is not recommended in any areas on the frozen lake surfaces. A few pressure ridges have formed on Kabetogama Lake which will be monitored and checked by staff. Ice checking in Voyageurs will continue, and an update on ice conditions and snowmobile trail status will be reported.
