Local individuals and businesses were recognized last week during the annual International Falls Chamber of Commerce banquet and award dinner.
Citizens of the year Tom and Jane Barthell accepted their award with Tom entertaining the crowd with a “shaggy dog story.”
This year’s customer service award winner was Evolve U Fitness & Wellness. The award was accepted by co-owners Ashley and Erin Hall.
The cornerstone award winner Larry Keep was unable to attend the banquet, but the award was accepted by his wife, Shelly Keep.
Pillar awards were presented to Border State Bank, Bremer Bank, Coca-Cola Bottling Company of International Falls, Gearhart’s Floral & Gifts, KGHS-KSDM Radio Stations, Midco, Packaging Corporation of America, and TruStar Federal Credit Union.
