Company to celebrate 20 years in International Falls this month
Badiuk Equipment recently received its first shipment of Lund boats and Mercury outboard motors, increasing their product selection.
This is good for customers of Lund, who will be able to get boats and service locally, said Badiuk’s Ben Burgess.
Previously, the Lund line was sold at Rainy Lake Marine, Burgess said.
The company will also celebrate its 20th anniversary of operating in the United States this month. Bill Badiuk started selling Ski-Doo Snowmobiles in 1948 in Fort Frances, and son Rob Badiuk opened a branch of the business in International Falls about 40 years later.
Badiuk will host an open house and customer appreciation event on April 30 and May 1 in celebration of its 20th anniversary.
“For us, we will be better able to handle the economic times,” Burgess said, speaking of the additional product line. “We hope to have another 20 years.”
Badiuk is a full marine and all-terrain vehicle dealer. In addition to its new lines, the company also sells Hewes Craft and Alumacraft boats, Evinrude, Yamaha and Honda outboard motors, Yamaha ATVs and Rhinos, Newmans trailers, Yamaha generators and Stihl products.
