Bemidji, Minn.,-based Lucachick Architecture Inc. opened a branch last month in International Falls.

The firm offers “full architectural services and coordination of consulting services for civil, structural, plumbing and mechanical HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) combined with electrical engineering,” according to a news release.

Jim Lucachick has been working out of Bemidji since he got his start in 1989. During his 23-year career, he said he’s worked on a broad range of projects that includes lake homes and commercial buildings. Lucachick also said he is happy to work with whatever the customer needs.

Lucachick is taking over the office of another architect, Jim Cowgill, who recently retired along with his wife, Sherri. His office successor wished the couple the very best on their long-deserved retirement.

The Lucachick Architecture branch is located at 211 Third St. The hours will vary in the Falls’ office, but Lucachick said he will tailor schedules to accommodate all Borderland clients.

He can be reached in Bemidji at 218-759-2305.
