International Falls native Cassie Bramhall recently joined Good Samaritan Society-International Falls as an occupational therapist.

“I look forward to working here in my home community at Good Samaritan Society,” Bramhall said.

Bramhall joined the therapeutic rehabilitation department, which provides occupational therapy to Good Samaritan Society residents and patients at the organization’s care center, and through home health care. Good Samaritan Society announced Bramhall’s hire last week.

As a graduate of University of North Dakota, Bramhall continued her education at the College of St. Scholastica, earning a master of science degree in occupational therapy.

Bramhall completed clinical internships at the Avanti Center in Hudson, Wis., and the Mayo Clinic Health System. Her internships include occupational therapy work on units including cardiopulmonary; general medicine; and orthopedic.

A fellowship award took Bramhall to Calgary, Alberta, where she worked with multiple sclerosis patients at a comprehensive rehabilitation center.

“I have had the opportunity to learn from a diverse group of talented health professionals throughout my education,” Bramhall said. “The knowledge and experience gained during this period has been phenomenal.”
