The International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce announced last week Jenna Bloomquist has been hired as the full-time administrative assistant
Bloomquist’s role, which she started June 10, will support both the chamber and the Rainy Lake Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.
Bloomquist was born on the Iron Range, and moved to the International Falls area while she was in elementary school. She is a graduate of Falls High School, and also earned her associates of arts degree from Rainy River Community College.
Her previous work experience has helped her develop a skill set that will be very complimentary to her new position, according to a news release. She is looking forward to the opportunity to meet new people and becoming more involved in our community and events.
The release said chamber staff looks forward to the membership and business community meeting and working with Bloomquist.
“She will be a great asset to the chamber and CVB, and we feel extremely fortunate to have her on board,” said Tricia Heibel, chamber president.
