Polly Hebig, who was previously the hospice coordinator for North Star Hospice in International Falls, has been promoted to the branch supervisor for the organization.
Following the retirement of Susan Larsen, Hebig now takes the position overseeing the Falls branch of Fairview HealthLine HomeCare and North Star Hospice. Hebig has worked for the agency for the past five years.
“I am very pleased that Polly is taking on this added responsibility,” said Penny Calger, director of transitional care, in a media release. “Her knowledge of the agency and the community will provide for a smooth transition.”
The Falls branch was established in 2007 and provides home care and hospice services throughout Koochiching County.
Hebig, her husband, and two children moved to International Falls five years ago from a town near Rochester.
Hebig holds a bachelor of science degree in social work from Winona State University.
“International Falls is home,” she said. “We love this community and have really enjoyed becoming involved.”
