RLMC Staff Report
Rainy Lake Medical Center has hired Bob Haley as the interim chief executive officer, Angela Liedke as the foundation and marketing coordinator, and Wyatt Lavigne as a physical therapist.
Haley replaces former CEO Steve Erixon, who completed his interim position in June. Haley comes to the area from Texas and brings more than 20 years of experience in growing and leading health care organizations. Most recently, he served four years at Florida Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Haley earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from David Lipscomb University and his master of business administration from Vanderbilt University — both located in Nashville, Tenn. He has been CEO and president of health care centers in North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Texas and South Carolina, with bed counts as high as 459. Haley is a current fellow at The American College of Health Care Executives and serves as a board member for Denton County United Way.
Liedke replaces former foundation and marketing coordinator Brenda Jones. Liedke is a graduate from Falls High School and Bemidji State University where she completed a bachelor of arts degree in marketing communications, with a minor in business administration. Her background includes work in the hotel and hospital industries, event planning and management, communications and marketing.
Liedke will organize and establish the marketing, communication and public relation activities for Rainy Lake Medical Center and the RLMC Foundation.
Lavigne graduated from Falls High School. He continued his education at St. Cloud State University where he graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in athletic training. He recently earned his doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of Minnesota.
Lavigne is a general physical therapist, however he has a special interest in orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapy.
“We are very happy to have Wyatt join our team of therapists,” said Nissa Fougner, director of RLMC’s Therapy and Wellness Center. “Wyatt has a strong educational background and a passion for his profession. He will be a great asset to the Therapy and Wellness Center.”
