Resolute Forest Products, which owns the Fort Frances paper mill, recently announced it will hold its annual meeting of stockholders on May 23. The meeting is slated to begin at 8 a.m. at the Hilton Charlotte Center City in North Carolina. Although the company changed its name from AbitibiBowater Inc. in October, the shares remain under the stock symbol ABH on both the New York Stock Exchange and the Toronto Stock Exchange. In addition to the Fort Frances mill, the company owns or operates 17 other pulp and paper mills and 23 wood products facilities in the United States, Canada and South Korea. Resolute Forest Products produces both newsprint and commercial paper; market pulp; and wood products.
