Stride Fitness & Health has added to its staff Ashley Wade, club manager, group exercise instructor and personal trainer.
Wade, who is from southern California, has a passion for nutrition and fitness, a statement said. She has experience in traditional health clubs and large clubs with more than 4,000 members, said the company.
Wade comes to International Falls with a wealth of knowledge in designing healthy lifestyle changes coupled with routine exercise leading members to meeting and exceeding their personal goals, said the company. She is also beginning her studies to become a certified holistic nutrition practitioner and is already certified in zumba, pilates, personal training, group exercise and senior fitness.
The organization notes she takes a personal interest in the individual, not just their workout, which is how she has helped clients overcome conditions such as fibromyalgia.
Wade is now teaching pilates, the barre method and zumba at Stride Fitness.
After completing an online “Biggest Loser” trainer seminar, Wade helped create similar weight loss challenge which will be offered in 2013.
Stride is also offering a “bootcamp” beginning Nov. 12. Wade has designed the bootcamp to be for any fitness level and will encompass nutrition as well as workouts.
