Instead of moving books from an over-crowded bookshelf to the garbage, readers in Borderland can donate them to the Falls Public Library for a book drive.
The effort, spearheaded by local Boy Scout Troop 145, will collect lightly-used hard-covered books, which childrens books preferred.
The collection runs through Oct. 1.
Collection sites around the community can be found at the public library, Faith United Church, County Market, Super One, Rainy River Community College library, Falls High School library, Falls Elementary library, and the International Falls Chamber of Commerce.
