Quilters guild
Northern Lights Quilters Guild will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church for the summer potluck. Bring a dish to share and summer projects to show. Guests are welcome.
Clothesline Giveaway
A Clothesline Giveaway is planned for 2 to 7 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Full Gospel Fellowship, 1530 Sixth Ave. W. Many different sizes of clothing are available. There is no charge. Everyone is welcome. For more information, call 283-2088.
Kids fishing derby
The Rainy Lake Sportfishing Club’s annual Back to School Kids Fishing Derby is planned for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Rod Smith Memorial Fishing Pond. Open to kids 15 years and younger. Bring fishing equipment.
FHS students
Schedules can be picked up in the office between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. beginning Friday and will also be posted on the computer through Skyward Family Access. Orientation for new students and seventh graders will be from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 29 in the gymnasium. Letters will be mailed. Meet the teachers for students and parents will be from 5:30 to 7:30 Aug. 29.
