Home educators
Border Home Educators will have a fall potluck dinner “meet and greet” at 6 p.m. Monday at Evangelical Covenant Church, 1631 First Ave. E. All current homeschooling/virtual schooling families are welcome, as well as anyone who may be considering homeschooling.
Exercise program
An Arthritis Foundation Exercise program will take place from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Oct. 30-Dec. 20, at Rainy Lake Medical Center clinic campus. Cost is $35. The eight-week program is designed to help decrease arthritis pain, relieve stiffness, increase flexibility and improve range of motion. Suitable for all fitness levels, featuring balance and endurance exercises to build stronger muscles and overall stamina. Drug Take Back
A Drug Take Back is planned for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 25 at Rainy Lake Medical Center hospital campus. The public is welcome to bring unwanted medications, prescriptions, ointments and safely secured sharps in closed containers to the pharmacy. Use the Therapy and Wellness entry.
Harvest Supper
The Moose Lodge will serve a Harvest Supper from 4 to 7 p.m. today. Doors open at 3. There is no Bingo.
