Book signing
Melissa Ann Winter will be at International Falls Public Library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday signing copies of her new book, Butterfly Dreams. Copies of the book will be available for sale as well.
Book sale
The Friends of the Library book sale is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at International Falls Public Library. Several books are available for purchase by donation with all proceeds benefitting the Friends of the Library support of the library.
Bell ringers needed
Bell ringers are needed to help raise funds for the annual Salvation Army Kettle Campaign, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Funds raised through this fundraiser are used all year to help those who use the Salvation Army in times of need. Sign up by calling 283-3394.
Homebuyer workshop
A Homebuyer Educational Workshop is planned for 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at KOOTASCA Community Action, 2232 Second Ave. E. The $35 per family charge is payable to KOOTASCA. Egg roll sales
Area residents are reminded that Citizens for Backus/AB will offer Egg Rolls for sale for the holiday season. Egg rolls will be ready for pickup Thursday. Orders may be placed by calling the Backus office at 285-7225.
Boys swim sign-ups
Boys swim team sign-up for grades 7 through 12 is set for 3 to 5 p.m. Monday at Falls High School pool.
