Valentine luncheon
Catholic Daughters of the Amercias will host their annual Valentine's Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Church. Turkey souffle with salads and desserts will be served. Cost is $9 for adults; children ages 5 to 12, $5; and children under 5 are free. Take-out dinners will be available. Everyone is welcome.
Backus Kids Club

Storytime at International Falls Public Library is set for 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Stories, rhymes and songs about Valentines and family will be featured.

Citizens for Backus/AB annual meeting is set for 5 p.m. Thursday at Backus Community Center dining room. The public is welcome to attend a free introduction to essential oils class set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Coffee Landing Cafe. Participants will learn how to make a healthy, immune-boosting medicine cabinet.
