Pacer workshop
A free Pacer workshop, The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 2004: Understanding the Individualized Education Program, will be offered from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Oct. 10 at AmericInn. Book club
Rainy River Book Club will meet at noon Saturday at Lenard’s. Discussion is on any book by Ernest Hemingway.
Concert bus
The Veterans of Foreign Wars-sponsored bus to Border Concert set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Backus Auditorium will pick up at Hampton Court at 6:35 p.m.; West Falls Estates and Robb-Ross, 6:40; River’s Edge Villa, 6:45; and Woodland, 6:50. The first concert of the season is “Take Me Home,” with Jim Curry performing music by John Denver.
Caregivers group
Caring and Sharing: A time for Caregivers group, will meet at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Fireside Room at Faith United Church of Christ, 1001 Fifth St. All are welcome to attend this group which offers family caregivers an opportunity to share and receive support.
