Ranier Summer Festival
The Ranier Summer Festival will begin the evening of Aug. 10 and run through Aug. 11. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in the various festivities planned.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School at St. Paul Lutheran Church is planned for 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the church located at 1324 Ninth St. Ages 4 through sixth grade are welcome. Registration begins at 12:45 Monday. For more information, call 283-8642.

Falls High School Class of 1965 Girls will meet for lunch at noon Aug. 8 at Sha~Sha Resort.
MS fundraisers
The community is encouraged to support the International Falls team participating in the 2012 MS MudRuckus by attending a bake sale at the Backus Community Market from 4 to 6:30 p.m. today and a grilled hot dog dinner set for Aug. 8 at the Backus/AB parking lot.
Highway 11 Indus-Loman project
The next public information meeting for the Highway 11 Indus-Loman project will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Bethany Lutheran Church community meeting room.
