Good Samaritan

The Good Samaritan Society-International Falls’ River’s Edge Villa will host two presentations of interest to the community Wednesday. The first, Charitable Gift Annuities, begins at 10 a.m. and covers how Charitable Gift Annuities can provide income for life and tax benefits while supporting a charity of choice. At 6:30 p.m., Estate Planning: Crafting a Legacy, by Kim Literovich of Shermoen & Jaksa, PLLP, will clarify common misconceptions about estate planning while helping craft an estate that accomplishes personal goals. Those interested in attending should RSVP to Barb at 283-8313, ext. 122, by Tuesday.
Worship in the Park
The public is welcome to Worship in the Park at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Smokey Bear Park. The Master’s Men will present a concert with a message by Evangelical Covenant Church’s new Senior Pastor Darren Olson. Following the service, a hot dog and brat (provided) salad and dessert potluck meal will be featured.
Pancake breakfast
Kabetogama United Methodist Church will sponsor a wild blueberry pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Kabetogama Senior Building. The public is welcome to attend.
