Trail hike
The Starry, Starry Night: Night Explorer Series, will feature a Blue Moon Oberholtzer Trail Hike at Voyageurs National Park from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Friday. Join “Dark” Ranger Jon Novacek outside Rainy Lake Visitor Center. The program is sponsored by Voyageurs National Park Association. No fee or registration is required to attend. Recommended ages 10 and up.
Caring Sharing Group
“Caring and Sharing: A time for Caregivers” group will meet on Thursday, at 1:30 pm in the Fireside Room at the Faith United Church (1001 Fifth Street, Int’l. Falls). All are welcome to attend the group which offers family/informal caregivers an opportunity to share experiences and to receive and give support. Stand Down
Larry Shellito, commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, will attend the fifth annual Stand Down today.
Tailgate Party
The Bronco Football Boosters will conduct a tailgate party from 5-6:15 p.m. at the stadium on Friday before the Bronco football game versus Foley. Cost is $5.
