The Giant Sing Along is back for the 2012 Minnesota State Fair. Last year, fair fans voted online to compile the best summer song list ever, according to a statement. By the time fair gates closed Labor Day, nearly 50,000 fair guests had enjoyed the magic of singing together, karaoke-style. The experience is back and better for 2012. Visitors can sing a little longer, a little later with a more extensive playlist and extended hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The State Fair needs help from fans to suggest their favorite songs, making an even greater playlist. To share song ideas and cast a vote visit mnstatefair.org through Thursday.

A participatory public art experience created by Daily Tous Les Jours, the Giant Sing Along is presented by Bremer Bank and located on Murphy Avenue, across from the pet center. It’s free and open to all guests each day of the 2012 Minnesota State Fair.

The Giant Sing Along is a co-production of the Minnesota State Fair and the Minnesota State Fair Foundation.
