Pastor Vern Lathe, of Bemidji, is serving as interim pastor at First Assembly of God in International Falls.
The pastor and his wife, Mary, have two sons and five grandchildren.
Lathe has served congregations in Walhalla, N.D., Park Rapids, and at First Assembly in Bemidji for a total of 43 years.
Retired from full-time ministry in March 2013, he now serves the Minnesota District of the Assemblies of God as an interim pastor.
Lathe stated, “We are happy to be serving at First Assembly and I look forward to meeting many in this fine community.”
