Rainy Lake Medical Center Auxiliary met March 7 at the hospital with president Carolyn McDougall presiding.
Hospital liaison Mickie Olson spoke to the group about the ongoing construction. She announced that the annual spring luncheon will be April 25 at Lenard’s. Invitations will be sent.
Committee reports were given. Sonia Wegge reported that the sloppy joe feed was a success. Proceeds from that event will go toward a scholarship for a graduating student who is pursuing a health-related career.
Wegge also reported on the membership. 2017 dues are due. Helen Billig reported on the gift shop. Volunteer director Florence Hervey reported that a few volunteer positions need to be filled.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the auxiliary will be April 4 at the hospital.
