Rainy Lake Medical Center Auxiliary met June 7 at the hospital. President Beverly Beck presided over the meeting and led in the prayer for hospital auxiliaries.
Hospital liaison Kelly Franz reported on the open house scheduled for June 9 to view the newly-remodeled wellness center.
Bonnie Erickson is the new hospital CEO.
A golf tournament fundraiser is planned for July 21.
A donation to the auxiliary in memory of Ann Longtine was received, with thanks, from Audrey Dahl.
Helen Billig, gift shop chairperson, reported that many new items have been received including new baby items, lanterns, dolls, gnomes and purses. More volunteer help is needed to tend the gift shop.
The annual auxiliary scholarship was presented to Max Vergeldt, who will pursue a medical-related career.
Attendance prizes were presented to Sonia Wegge, Carol Lagoo and Franz.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the auxiliary will be July 5 at the hospital.
