Rainy Lake Medical Center Auxiliary met Oct. 6 at the hospital with president Beverly Beck presiding. She led in reciting the prayer for hospital auxiliaries.
On the agenda were making plans for the annual bake sale and plans for the upcoming meat and quilt raffle. The annual bake sale will be Nov. 6 at the hospital. The drawling for the meat bundle/quilt raffle will be Nov. 16.
Volunteer director Bea Brown reported on her trip to the annual state HCAM conference in Alexandria in September. She gave her impressions of the meeting and felt it was very informational and worthwhile.
Sonia Wegge reported on her October attendance at the Falls Forum of the Health Care Auxiliaries (HCAM) of Minnesota in Grand Rapids. The main topic was volunteerism.
Hospital liaison Kelly Franz announced that she would be conducting tours for preschool children. She required help from the auxilians for the tours.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the auxiliary will be Nov. 3 at the hospital.
