Claudia Mesher, president of the District B Hospital Auxiliaries of Minnesota, was a guest of the Rainy Lake Medical Center Auxiliary at their Nov. 3 meeting at the hospital.
Mesher urged members to “make their presence known” through Facebook, communication, and job descriptions of volunteer stations. She brought greetings from other auxiliaries in the district.
RLMC president Beverly Beck called the meeting to order and committee reports were given. Final plans for the annual bake sale were made. Sonia Wegge is chairperson for the event.
The meat bundle and quilt raffle will be Nov. 16. The quilt was made by Pam Hanson.
Kelly Franz, hospital liaison, spoke about the ongoing remodeling of the hospital. She invited the auxilian members to the annual Christmas party to be held in December.
Fruitcakes have arrived and are on sale at the gift shop. The shop is not located next to the Riverfront dining room.
Election of officers will take place in December.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the auxiliary will be Dec. 1 at the hospital.
