Rainy Lake Medical Center Auxiliary President Beverly Beck presided at the April 5 meeting at the hospital. Twelve members were in attendance. Up-to-date reports were given.
Treasurer Mary Morriseau gave the treasurer’s report and a summary of the March 31 sloppy joe feed. Proceeds from that event will go toward the scholarship given to a high school senior who is pursuing a medical-related career.
Bea Brown, volunteer chairperson, reported on the volunteer positions and announced that the District B Spring Forum of hospital auxiliaries will be April 22 in Chisholm.
Gift shop chairperson Helen Billig said new merchandise is on order and should be arriving soon.
The annual auxiliary spring luncheon will take place in April at the AmericInn.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the auxiliary will be May 3 at the hospital.
