Rainy River Community College will host its first Social Services Provider Fair as a required workshop for new students at orientation from 10:30 a.m. to noon Aug. 24.
Students will be organized in three groups. The first group will attend the fair from 10:30 to 11; the second group, 11-11:30; and third, 11:30-noon. Participants should enter RRCC in the main entrance (Door 1), Door 9 or Door 10.
Students will greet participants at each entrance and escort them to Room S119, where the fair will be held. Participants will be provided a table and two chairs.
Social Services Providers that plan to attend include KOOTASCA Community Action, Frostbite Finds, Rainy Lake Medical Center, Koochiching Aging Options, Backus Community Center, Falls Hunger Coalition, Salvation Army, Friends Against Abuse, First Baptist Church, International Falls Public Library, AEOA Rural Rides, SNAP, Housing & Redevelopment Authority of Koochiching County, MN Workforce Center and Borderland Young Professionals.
Bring any information, gifts, etc. to provide students.
