Rainy Lake Medical Center Auxiliary met July 6 at the hospital with president Linda Tilander presiding.
Hospital liaison Sage Hemstad presented a list of purchases for the hospital. Members voted to purchase a patient warmer and a digital baby scale as this year’s donation to the hospital.
In other news, Hemstad announced that the foundation is sponsoring a golf tournament fund raiser July 22. A blood drive is planned for August.
Volunteer Director Sadie Darvell reported that Connie Lacher had made arrangements for a membership table on Crazy Daze. Darvell is setting up a schedule of workers to sign up members.
Gift Shop chairperson said sales are going well for ankle bracelets, toe rings and pens. Christmas items are on order.
Door prizes were awarded to Carol Lagoo, Marcie Rasmussen and Rose Morin.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the auxiliary will be Aug. 3 at the hospital.
