The Icebox Radio Theater of International Falls will perform a live music/variety show at 2 p.m. Aug. 11. 

The show will be performed on the deck of Woody’s Pub in Ranier as part of the Ranier Summer Festival. The performance will feature several original songs by Myron Hawrylak and The Cross Border Orchestra as well as other original skits.

As a special feature, the IBRT will be ‘NetCasting’ the show on Facebook and Twitter for the first time. 

“Internet broadcasting is nothing new to us,” IBRT Artistic Director Jeffrey Adams said in a statement. “But utilizing social media in this way is new and special. We’ll be using a program I just discovered that automatically places links on our Twitter feed and Facebook wall to broadcast the show. Once people find the links, it’s two clicks and they’re listening. It’s very easy to use. So long as we can get an Internet connection, we’ll be on the air.”
