Icebox Radio Theater will conduct a workshop for people interested in audio drama or participating in a real broadcast.

The workshop for all ages begins with an informational meeting at 7 p.m. June 28 and 2 p.m. June 30.

On June 28, the informational meeting at Studio B-6 at Backus Community Center will offer information on audio drama and radio theater and will include time for questions and answers.

On June 30, the workshop will be a hands-on experience. Participants can expect to get the chance to learn about acting, sound effects and music first hand and participate in an actual broadcast performed in-studio. No audience will be present during the broadcast.

All ages are invited to participate in the workshop, but are required to be able to read, according to organizers.

A statement described the purpose of the event: to have fun telling stories. More information is available at www.iceboxradio.org

The Icebox Radio Theater is a non-profit organization and participation is by one-donation of any amount. Email questions to home@iceboxradio.org.
