Indus Community Education will once again “call all quilters” to the 12th annual quilt show scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. May 4 at Indus School library.

Area quilters are invited and encouraged to bring their handiwork and creativity to the school for display.

According to organizers, the response in past years has been overwhelming and the same is hoped for this year.

In addition to the quilt show, several other events will be featured. A small craft fair will be set up in the library area. Vendors should contact Karen Anderson at 634-2425 or 285-3479.

There will also be plenty of action on the softball field as the softball team takes on Red Lake. The game begins at 3:45 p.m.

Lois Lewis and the Family Consumer Science students will sponsor a freewill baked potato supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Family and Consumer Scienceroom.

Nick Strandberg will direct the spring music concert and piano recital beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the commons area.

The public is welcome to attend the events.
