Sloughgrass jam
An acoustic jam to raise money for a scholarship for a student atteneding Littlefork-Big Falls School will begin at noon Saturday at the Littlefork VFW. Members of the Sloughgrass band will lead in the jam. Food will be served and all are welcome. The event is sponsored by American Legion Post 490.
IBRT open house
The Icebox Radio Theater will hold an open house for anyone interested in learning about the International Falls group from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the IBRT Studio B-6 in the Backus Community Center.
Visitors can relax in the green room, tour the main recording area and explore the sound effects room where all are welcome to test Microphones will be set up and guests are invited to try their hand at voice acting and announcing.
IBRT artists will be on hand to answer questions, and an assortment of merchandise, including $1 CD's will be available. More information on the Icebox Radio Theater is available at www.iceboxradio.org.
